In 2018, he pursued specialised hair restoration training in Israel under Dr. Alex Ginzburg — one of the most respected names in international FUE and hairline design. That training brought Israeli medical precision and artistic philosophy directly to Thane.

Hair transplantation permanently redistributes a finite donor supply — the donor area cannot be replenished. Decisions taken at the first surgery — how the hairline is drawn, how many grafts are used, which zones are prioritised, how the donor area is harvested — constrain everything that can be done afterwards. Diagnosis Before Treatment
Hair fall is a presenting symptom with many possible causes, and the causes require entirely different management. Telogen effluvium following illness or childbirth is often self-limiting once the trigger is corrected. Androgenetic alopecia is progressive and needs long-term therapy. Alopecia areata is autoimmune. Scarring alopecias destroy follicles permanently and are a contraindication to transplantation while active — transplanting into an undiagnosed scarring alopecia can waste grafts irretrievably.
For this reason, no patient at ROOTS RESTORE is offered a procedure before evaluation — and not every patient who enquires about a transplant is advised to have one.
